Optos® optomap® technology offers unparalleled views of the retina which allows for ultra-widefield retinal imaging to aid Dr. Taylor in diagnosing, analyzing, documenting and monitoring ocular pathology that may first present in the periphery, and otherwise may go undetected using traditional examination techniques and equipment.

optomap® is implemented as a screening tool in our practice for the early detection of disease in the posterior segment of the eye in the context of preventative medicine and eye health and wellness.

We are most excited about adding this new piece of equipment to our practice because optomap® gives us a much larger look in to the retina than we've ever had before. Dr. Taylor recommends having optomap® at each annual exam.

At Dr. Taylor's discretion, this procedure
can replace the need for a dilated exam.
M'eye Fit Mirror is an invaluable dispensing device which allows precise measurements for progressive wearers.

The patient sits in front of the mirror and the technician utilizes the device to obtain accurate measurements in just two quick pictures.

The mirror uses a 3D measurement to capture the orientation of the spectacle lens to the wearer.

The measurements take in to account the distance and angle of the lens relative to the eye, as well as the tilt of the wearer’s head.

Each frame fits each patient differently. All of this affects how the Rx will be interpreted at the lab to produce a personalized free-form lens.
Digital Refraction System
Our new digital refraction system takes your exam experience to the next level by allowing Dr. Taylor to obtain a highly precise refraction. We now have the ability to refine the prescription to a hundredths of a diopter, providing a more exact and customized prescription. One of the most exciting features for our patients is that Dr. Taylor now has the ability to show the difference between your old prescription and new prescription with a touch of the button.
